In the list of world's best universities who released Times Higher Education and QS Top Universities there are a number of technology universities specializing in technology studies.
From the 100 best universities, at least there are some technology-based universities that successfully compete with public universities.
This study itself, conducted Times Higher Education conducted on approximately 9000 universities. Assessment is based on research facilities, quality educators, and the college's ability to recruit educators. Thus was launched Times ofIndia, Friday (16/10/2009).
